It’s been a busy couple of weeks! I have been projecting around my house…how are your projects going?
Last time, I gave you a list of ten tips that were all budget friendly and of DIY or Do-it-Yourself direction. I thought I would head in the complete opposite direction this week!
I have been shopping for a couple of clients in the last few weeks and have just seen some really lovely things I wanted to share with you. There is so much ‘uniqueness’ (is that a real word?? Must be as the spell check is still happy!) on the market right now.
I stopped by a local furniture store and they have an entire room of the Joe Ruggiero Sunbrella collection of furniture and fabrics. Sunbrella, in case you don’t know is a line of fabrics that are virtually impervious to staining and discoloration. Perfect for a high sunshine room or a family room with lots of family traffic, food on the lap or wine drinking :). But what is REALLY unique about this line of fabrics is the hand or feel of the fabrics. Most people think of this indoor/outdoor fabric as rough and scratchy…like an awning. Not so now! This fabric not only wears extremely well, but it soft and comfortable to the touch. I have a complete selection of pictures and links on the website, but here are a few to whet your appetite!
