I have been crushing on black walls for a couple of years now. Our house came equipped with brass hardware everywhere and to make it all “make sense” and glam up the dated finish, I loved the thought of mixing it with black. Unfortunately, I have trouble envisioning our SoCal Spanish with bright sunny rooms done in black walls. On a recent “trip” to HOUZZ, I found an awesome collection of black walls. Alas…nothing to revise my opinion about putting black on my Spanish…what do you think?

Probably my favorite on the page…I love the natural elements juxtaposed with the strong black and gold statements.

I’ve loved this one since the first time I saw it…probably because I love crisp, white molding. The traditional girl in me.
